We’ve already covered up James Turrell’s ongoing exhibition at Museo Gumex, New Mexico, as well as given a closer look at his upcoming Pace Gallery London solo show that launches in February. Now, the Light and Space artist is set to display archival works from his long-running Glass series in this year’s Frieze Los Angeles art fair at Paramount Studios, hosted by Pace and Kayne Griffin Corcoran.

We’re thrilled to announce that for the 2020 edition of Frieze Los Angeles, Pace Gallery will partner with Kayne Griffin Corcoran to present an immersive exhibition of work by #JamesTurrell across both galleries’ booths at Paramount Studios. – On view from February 14–16, the presentation will further the ongoing crowdsourcing and awareness-raising efforts for Turrell’s magnum opus, the #RodenCrater project. Having to make a slight shift with Skarstedt Gallery, Kayne Griffin Corcoran will, together with Pace Gallery, combine their booths to showcase Turrell’s works in an immersive solo exhibition at the fair. Despite his Glass pieces varying in composition, each work will emit their own vivid combination of colors that transition seamlessly from one to the other.

Frieze Los Angeles will run through February 14-16, at Paramount Picture Studios.
